I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
